This might be the oddest cover concept I've done to date. After hearing from the editor, I then tossed around ideas with the book's interior artist Jonboy Meyers and he subsequently came up with what we both felt was a viable composition for the issue.

Concerning what this cover means or is portraying, I honestly couldn't say with any specificity as I haven't read the scripts.

You know, the picture would probably be way more awesome if I knew who those two characters were. ^_^;; Can anyone tell me? If only there was a comic store near me so I could actually read some. Oh well, love the background though. I also really like the way you got the ruffles and wrinkles on the skirt of the girl on the right. Excellent job.

lol, thanks! Unfortunately, I also know little about the characters except that they're the children of various X-Men. Other than that, I can only to refer you to the comic itself :)

That is absolutely terrible Alex! How can you draw a character and not be interested in who they are?!
:rofl: I mean, I understand that it's your job to draw the characters and not to know them but I am a curious person so I wouldn't be able to just draw an official character and not feel the urge to look them up. Not all of them, but more than a few. lol Guess that means I'm gonna have to go steal some comics. If I get caught I shall blame you for putting me up to it. ^_^

great looking! looks like CC is up to another body swapping story. this would be a cool concept for someone to do with Psylocke's two bodies :)
