The quality kind of sucks because this is from a crappy photocopy since I don't own the original:

Gen 13-Gen X Cover.

This was my first work over Art Adams and I was very, very nervous because had grown up worshipping his art from Longshot to his legendary New Mutants/X-Men annuals. This was definitely one of the bigger fanboy moments in my life. My teenage self would never have believed it.

I remember this one! I was so jealous you got to ink him as much as you did! I think I've inked twice... Once was just a sketch of Batman for Glenn Danzig. I wish I could of inked more of him...!

I just wish the script for this book hadn't strangulated Art's work. Too many tiny panels and characters per page. Art & I had no room to breathe.

Art needs one page on and one off. Give him a bunch of panels one one page and then 4 on the next. It's an easy formula. I can't even remember the story and that's the problem with a lot of these writers... Arrggghhh.. All that work and a forgettable story.

Yeah, I never thought that writing would ever affect my job as inker until that gig. Kinda sucks because it tainted what could have been a signature career book for me.

It still was! You are one of the few to ink him exceptionally well!
