My unused Ventriloquist cover sketch before the overall DC Villains Month cover style-guide was changed to something different using traditional pen & ink art.
Basically the concept here is the Ventriloquist controls the Dummy, but the Dummy has it's own personality and also wants to kill her. So basically she's fighting her own two psychotic personalities and struggling to hold back her "possessed" Dummy-controlling hand; ala Dr. Strangelove. So essentially she's just a normal, well-balanced stable human being.

Love this unused cover, Alex. I was lucky enough to assist the artist on the interiors of this villains month event issue, and this concept really nails Shauna and Ferdie twisted relationship.
